The Icarus Paradox is a huge story with a lot going on, many characters and many moving parts, but the primary focus is these three. David and Sam have been helping Jason (middle) for years to control his psychic abilities. The results aren’t great, and they’ve had to resort to using drugs when he loses control (and to keep him under control). Not even Sam, who has these psionic powers herself, can figure out what’s wrong with Jason. Their only clue to “curing” him is a mysterious artifact being held in a government lab, where their lives originally began.
